These are all examples of self-limiting beliefs. They are all phrases that we use in society and what we repeat either consciously or subconsciously. These emotional feelings and thoughts are destructive, and over time can lead to all sorts of problems and conflict.
We are human and we wouldn't be human if we didn't have negative thoughts; we just need to give them a sense of balance in the world. Coaching will not eliminate negative thoughts, but it will help you manage them and control them, even harness them towards positive thinking, which is ultimately our end goal.
Through the process of analysis, exploration, discussion and action we can work through the process of your thoughts and discover a new way of thinking by setting small but realistic targets. Doing this will notably begin to turn your life around and set your sail towards what you always wanted to achieve.
Yes, of course there will be obstacles along the way and we will have to change course slightly and adapt, this is part of the learning/coaching process. However you will have already gained the power to re-adjust and get back on course much quicker than you did before.
You CAN change and you WILL change through the process of coaching. Learning a new way to think and manage your life will give you the confidence to identify the capabilities that already exist in you.
