My Coaching Philosophy

What could Life Coaching do for you?

 

As people, we tend to get stuck in certain places or situations in our lives, whether it is due to insecurity, fear, ignorance or something else. We all need a push and some guidance to get us moving again, and this is exactly what life coaching does.

Coaching can help you uncover what is blocking you, why you feel stuck and the deeper causes beneath your situation. From this, achievable goals can be set and solutions can be discovered - moving you forward towards what you should be doing.

I have worked with people from all backgrounds and with very different requirements. But they all have one thing in common --> they want change and are determined to get it!

My clients range from: single mums, students, working professionals, young executives, teachers to retirees.

 

In general, people who I work with tend to be people that want the following:

  • to achieve their goals (identified or unidentified) and be successful

  • to find happiness

  • to find their life purpose

  • to do what they love

  • to be more confident/ reduce anxiety

  • to improve their relationships

  • improve their social life

  • to make more money

  • to make a fresh start after divorce.

     How I can help!

    - Initially, I will be asking you lots of questions and will use various tested coaching techniques

      to help you identify what aspects of your emotional self is stopping you from moving forward.

  

    - I will ask you to evaluate what is important to you

      and how you would feel if you are stopped from having it.

     - We will then identify a plan and action points and set goals

       through meta-cognition we will make changes to thought processes enabling a more positive   

       mindset.

     - After each session, you will receive a written account of the session followed by agreed         actions and timelines.

You value your life, you know what happiness should look like; you may even have been there before. It's not enough for you to sit and be complacent, you do not rely on fate, luck or divine intervention. You don't want to be told what to do, but need the tools to do the job and to feel empowered from here on out.

 

ABOUT ME

I have been involved in the human sciences since 1996 and obtain a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. I have worked in the corporate world before working in the education system for the last 15 years. I have been involved in coaching and mentoring in that time and am a member of the Association of Coaching.
